Diet is as important as fitness because, healthy foods contain huge amounts of protein, fats, and carbohydrates to give you the energy you need to push you throughout the day and in every workout and win the day. Fitness is either just stay fit, or grow your muscle. Fitness is 30% of work-out and 70% diet, you’ve to work on both diet and work-out. Eating right allows you to reduce body fat, and then only you can gain lean muscle. To get the energy you require throughout the day, a healthy bunch of protein, fats and carbohydrates are important.
A healthy diet provides the body with essential nutrition, it’s an important part of healthy lifestyle. Include lots of fresh fruits and veggies in your diet. They have high water content and are rich in fiber which helps constipation and keeps you hydrated throughout the day. They also keep our skin looking younger as it contain certain antioxidants. Omega 3 fatty acids reduce stress. Include vitamin C, magnesium and black tea to further reduce stress hormones and protect the immune system.
Protein is needed to help keep your body growing, maintained, and repaired, so pack your protein snacks and meals.
Eat whole grain foods to stabilize blood sugar. Include unrefined, minimally processed foods such as veggies and fruits in your diet. A balanced diet will prevent unhealthy food cravings keeping us feel full for longer. Healthy foods such as cheese, milk, plain yogurt, and other dairy products with high fiber promote oral health and keep our teeth and gum stronger and healthier. It reduces bacteria and limits inflammation in the mouth to help us smile beautifully.
So basically this is why diet is as important as fitness, if you fail to structure your diet around your training habits,you cannot expect to see much of a progress at all.
